MEDIA LAUNCH OF THE GALA DINNER FOR THE ARANDIS EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT CENTRE  IN ARANDIS – 11 JULY 2018, WINDHOEK

Road fatalities in Namibia continue to be a major public health problem that warrants a decisive integrated remedial action, as such National Road Safety Council, in pursuance of the provisions of Section 6(d) of the National Road Safety Act, 9 of 1972, deemed it fit to partner with the Arandis Town Council and the Erongo Regional Council in the development and management  of the proposed Emergency Response and Traffic Management Centre in Arandis.  The Centre is expected to provide the required emergency response, traffic management control services principally along the B2 stretch between Swakopmund and Usakos.
